The Heart Behind Waggin Tails
I grew up in NY in a pet rescue foster household. My family would pick up strays and try to reunite them with their owners. Many of these abandoned dogs ended up as family members' pets. This was a heartbreaking yet very rewarding thing we were doing.
After moving to PA and working in a corporate setting, I knew something was missing. I love my dogs but the want to do more for other animals was still there. I decided to get back into working with animals doing something less heartbreaking, pet sitting.
I think pet companionship is a very important part of a human's life. Pets do a lot for us and we need to give them all the love, time and proper care they need. I hope with the help that I and others provide, people like the elderly, disabled or busy families, can give their pets a life full of love.
